Monstrous Companions

Have just received both the contributors’ list and final artwork for Tim Marquitz’s upcoming ‘Fading Light‘ anthology, due out later this year, and wanted to share.

The book looks set to be massive, containing at least thirty stories from a great collection of authors:-

Adam Millard, Nick Cato, Stephen McQuiggan, Gary W. Olson, Tom Olbert, Mark Pantoja, Malon Edwards, David Dalglish, Jake Elliot, Lee Mather, Gord Rollo, Georgina Kamsika, Dorian Dawes, Timothy Baker, William Meikle, DL Seymour, Wayne Ligon, TSP Sweeney, Stacey Turner, Gene O’Neill, Gef Fox, Edward M. Erdelac, Henry P. Gravelle, Ryan Lawler, Mark Lawrence, CM Saunders, Regan Campbell, Jonathan Pine and Peter Welmerink.

I’ve added the final version of the cover to the Publications Page and will put up further details nearer to the official release date.

A change of home…

Just heard that the ‘Fading Light‘ anthology will now be published by Angelic Knight Press instead. Prospective launch date is still September 1st 2012.

Here’s a brief preview of the awesome artwork by Jessy Lucero:-

Cutting edge

Chris Teague over at Pendragon Press has just uploaded the image below, created by Neil Williams, which will be the cover for his forthcoming e-anthology ‘Nasty Snips 2‘, due out later this year and featuring my short piece ‘The Perfect Woman‘.

Update (June 2012):-

There’s been a slight change of plan over at Pendragon and this release will now be a series of electronic  mini-anthologies, entitled The Nasty Snips Project, featuring four stories in each bite-size release.

For full details, check out this link.

Tickets please!

My short story ‘The Lightning Conductor‘ is the mid-month feature over at  Roar & Thunder eZine.

You can read online for free here.

Double the Horror

The second of my horror stories out for Halloween, ‘From Chatterton Hill‘,  is now available over at Screaming Dreams as part of the bumper seasonal issue of Estronomicon.

It’s free to read and can be downloaded here.

Happy Halloween to all!

Something fishy

For those of you looking for some horror this Halloween, my latest offering, ‘Fish Out Of Water‘, is now available as part of the ‘Midnight Movie Creature Feature‘ anthology from May December Publications.

The book is out now on Kindle, priced £6.47 in the UK and can be ordered as a hard copy version on Amazon.com.

And if that’s not enough horror for you, Severed Press’s ‘Zombie Zoology‘ anthology, featuring my story, ‘Why The Wild Things Are‘, is now on special offer at only £2.14 for Kindle. So why not double up and download a copy at the same time for twice the scares.

(Watch this space for yet more horror before the end of the month)

Now Available

The British Fantasy Society’s 40th Anniversary Anthology, ‘Full Fathom Forty‘, is now available to buy and features my story ‘Eater Of Lost Causes‘.

Copies can be purchased from either Amazon or The Book Depository, as well as from the BFS itself. For those interested, I recommend buying directly from the BFS, though I am entirely biased. It’s a bit more expensive but they have better availability and 100% of the money goes to the Society.

The book itself is a mammoth 500 pages and features stories from some of the best authors in the business:-

Graham Masterson, Ramsey Campbell, Mike Barrett, Stephen Gallagher, Nina Allan, Joel Lane, Christopher Fowler, Jasper Kent, Sam Stone, Kim Newman, Conrad Williams, Simon Clark, Suzanne Barbieri, Stephen Laws, John Llewellyn Probert, Murray Ewing, Ian Hunter, Deborah Walker, Jonathan Carroll, Jan Edwards, Martin Owtin, Tina Rath, Robert Shearman, Wilf Kelleher Jones, Cate Gardner, Adrian Chamberlin, Cas Peace, Stan Nicholls, Geoff Nelder, Jim Steel, Matthew Fryer, R B Harkness, Raven Dane, Paul Finch, Mark Lewis, Alison J Littlewood, Steve Lockley, Peter Mark May and Steven Savile.

Full details of links and pricing can be found on the Publications page.

For Terri

The Fall issue of Dark Gothic Resurrected magazine is out now and includes my story ‘Things Lost In Fire‘.

Copies can be purchased from Lulu in either paperback or ebook format.
